Your guide Travis De Boer: I am a life long outdoorsman who is very enthusiastic and highly motivated when it comes to my work. I am very grateful to be doing what I do. I served my country honorably as an Airborne Ranger under the Special Operations Command where among other things, I received extensive medical training. I am also an outdoor writer. I have been published in Salmon and Steelhead Journal, Washington and Oregon Game and Fish, Rocky Mountain Bow Hunter as well as writing a “how-to” column for Big Sky Outdoor News and Adventure. I am what some old timers would call a “fish head” which is something I hope never changes. The love and fascination I hold for these critters motivates me to put as many of them as possible in my clients hands (which is something I pride myself on doing very consistently) so that they might, hopefully, come to feel the same way about these amazing animals as I do. I am (and plan to continue being) a results oriented guide, though I know all of the experiences and memories made on our beautiful rivers are precious. The only thing I love more than fishing myself is seeing someone else have success in this great sport especially if I can play a part in making it happen.

About Julie De Boer (Our team leader): Julie is my wife and the Guerilla team leader she is the glue that holds this little operation together. Her average annual catch rates on our rivers rival even the most renowned and well known professionals in the world (that is a promise) whether it’s spey rods or gear rods she will hook and subdue fish. She runs the day to day of the company, she keeps me pointed in the right direction, and she provides logistical support as needed on the river.
